About SEOConquestBot

You found SEOConquestBot in your server logs. It is the crawler that SEO Conquest uses to read the public pages of sites whose owners asked us for an audit. It reads only what a visitor sees. It never fills in forms and never signs in.

User agent

SEOConquestBot/1.0 (+https://seo-conquest.com/bot)

The address https://seo-conquest.com/bot in that user agent opens this page.

What it does

It opens the public pages of a site and measures their structure: titles, descriptions, headings, links and images. It sends those fields to our rule engine. It does not keep the full HTML, only the fields the analysis needs.

How often it asks for pages

The pace stays gentle, so your server is never under load:

  • At most one request per second to the same host.
  • At most 200 pages per run.

How to ask us to skip your site

If you would rather we did not read your site, add these two lines to the robots.txt file at the root of your domain:

User-agent: SEOConquestBot
Disallow: /

We read robots.txt on every run. A path disallowed there for our user agent is never requested.
